Thomas Cook is raising £2.3m to create a much needed state-of-the-art Children’s Critical Care Centre at the Variety Club Children’s Hospital. This is possible through the generosity of their customers on booking their holidays and giving left over foreign currency on their return flights. Thomas Cook's fundraising success also lies on the ingenuity of their staff through a range of fantastic fundraising activities.

ODEON, the UK’s largest cinema chain, plans to increase its fundraising work and has announced Variety Club as one of its official charities. Variety Club will benefit from initiatives across ODEON’s 111 cinemas.

Nestle Rowntree has raised £150,000 to sponsor 6 Sunshine Coaches in Yorkshire, Scotland North East regions. They have raised this money through some outstanding staff fundraising and organising successful fundraising events. For every pound raised the company has matched it pound for pound.

GeoPost has been a supporter for 14 years and they have raised over £900, 000. The company uses the brands Parceline and Interlink as well. Recently they presented their 50th Sunshine Coach. This campaign was named Going For Gold, and the coach has been painted a special Gold colour for this reason! Money is raised through staff initiatives and the company matches pound for pound.

Crest Nicholson is a leading developer of sustainable communities and has supported The Variety Club for almost 3 years. Fundraising takes place across the country with eight regional offices heading up the campaign. Weston Homes is a large building company, going into their fifth year of Bronze Corporate Bond. The company has already donated six Sunshine Coaches and actively supports many events and assists many children with wheelchairs too.

Iveco has been supporting Variety Club for many years, not only sponsoring and attending events but manufacturing the Variety Club Sunshine Coach. CEO Chris Thorneycroft-Smith recently decided that they would like to help even further by putting more Sunshine Coaches on the road. This association brings together surveyors who specialise in developing out of town retail parks. Accessible Retail is a property retail organisation which has raised over £600,000 in their 7 years of supporting Variety Club. They have donated over 40 coaches to the Sunshine Coach programme.

ACI UK
ACI UK's annual charity golf day has become a very special day. Each year ACI holds a pay to play charity event with dinner and auction and raises enough to sponsor two Sunshine Coaches. The recipient schools are invited along to the event.
