Neil Sedaka Silver Heart Tribute

Variety Club is proud to announce that our highest accolade, "The Silver Heart Award" is being bestowed upon the legendary singer/songwriter, Neil Sedaka for his outstanding services to the music industry and his charitable work.

This event takes place in Manchester on Friday 8th October 2010.  The event will be attended by many celebrities from the world of entertainment, including Neil himself.

Neil Sedaka is a much-loved and respected international performer, who has been responsible for writing some of the greatest classics for some of the biggest recording stars in the world.

The prestigious Variety Club Silver Heart Award Dinner will commence at 7:00pm and is due to finish at approximately 12:00 midnight.  The evening will include a sumptuous three-course dinner and wonderful entertainment from some surprise guests.

Lyn Staunton, Development Director of Variety Club North West said, "Neil Sedaka is loved and respected world-wide and the Variety Club is honoured and delighted that Neil is accepting this prestigious award to enable the Variety Club to continue the fantastic work it does for under-privileged children."

The Variety Club has been helping disabled and disadvantaged children for over 60 years and is delighted that all monies raised at this spectacular event will benefit the disabled and disadvantaged children of the North West of England.
