The Variety Club works to help improve the lives of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people up to the age of 19 years across the UK.

Our work ranges from providing Sunshine Coaches and funding major hospital appeals to providing basic items that will improve the lives of individual children. Each year we donate electric wheelchairs, specialist beds, car seats, sensory equipment, standing frames and many other items that can change the life of a child in need.

Traditionally the "showbiz" charity, we benefit from much celebrity patronage as well as wide public and corporate support. Our greatest strength lies in our dedicated army of volunteers from all walks of life, who give so generously of their time and energies to deliver almost all of our work and activities.
