Sunshine Coaches are the Variety Club's best known method for providing support and assistance to sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across the entire country. Set up over 45 years ago the coaches have become a symbol for what can be achieved when children are given the opportunity to do whatever they want. Since 1962 more than 4,700 coaches have been on the road.

Every coach is donated to an organisation which supports sick, disabled or disadvantaged children and encourages them to lead rich and fulfilling lives. They provide immeasurable benefits to the schools, clubs and community groups who receive them and regularly completely change what an organisation can do with their children.

Key to allowing sick, disabled and disadvantaged children and young people to reach their full potential is the rich variety of experiences which these coaches can bring them. The trips which they are able to participate in are the sorts of memories which last a lifetime. The coaches are an extremely popular way for companies and corporate sponsors to also help give something back to their local communities. We and the children who benefit from this, are indebted to those businesses which take this responsibility seriously.
