DPD present their 57th Sunshine Coach

Local football celebrity Gary Mackay and current British Boxing Champion Paul Appleby were on hand to help DPD present their 57th Sunshine Coach to the children of Harmeny School, Midlothian.
Also present were John Coleman (DPD Director of Operations), Marylin Coleman, Edwin McKechnie (DPD Regional Manager) Elliot McKenzie (Variety Club Scotland Chairman) and Jack Zimmer MBE (Variety Club V@W Co-ordinator).

Harmeny School is a special needs residential school catering for 31 children aged 6 - 14 years with severe social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Most children have a range of conditions which affect their behaviour and learning including ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger's syndrome and many have autism. The coach will be used to take the children out on visits to other establishments, educational events, leisure based activities, outdoor education activities and holidays.
