Variety Club Midlands bring Sunshine to Chadsgrove School

The children of Chadsgrove School receive their brand new Sunshine Coach from Variety Club Midlands Chairman Ralph Holden

Variety Club Midlands have presented a brand new Sunshine Coach to the children of Chadsgrve School, Bromsgrove. The specially adapted mini-bus will allow the children the opportunity to take part in activities such as ice skating, skiing, archery, sailing, horseriding and electric wheelchair football & basketball also cultural trips to the cinema, theatre, dance competitions, festivals and choir events and of course educational visits including canal tips, geography field trips, trips to historice sites and nature centres. 

Variety Club Midlands Chairman hands the keys for the specially adapted minibus over to Deb Rattley, Headteacher of Chadsgrove School & Specialist Sports College, with Variety Club Trusts & Foundations Manager Helen Bournat

Chadsgrove School caters for 116 children aged 2 - 19 with physical disabilities, complex medical conditions, sensory loss, communications difficulties & associated learning difficulties. Approx. 85 of the children are wheelchair users. This new 17 seater with a tail-lift replaces their previous minibus which was sadly written off in an accident last year.
