Variety Yorkshire Appoint New Chairman

Ian Leach has been appointed as Chairman of the Yorkshire Region of Variety, the Children’s Charity.

Last year the Yorkshire committee celebrated its golden anniversary with a series of high profile events which raised hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Since joining Variety in 2004, Ian has been active committee member helping to change the lives of disadvantaged and disabled children across the County.

Ian said,

“Over the past 50 years, Variety has helped thousands of children to lead better, more fulfilling lives. I’m delighted and honoured to be elected Chairman for this fantastic charity in Yorkshire.

He added,

“Through the incredible hard work and dedication of our committee of volunteers and the generous support of our sponsors, I look forward to continuing to make a real difference to needy children in our region.”

Outside of his Variety duties, Ian runs Clearsilver a Leeds based Brand Marketing Agency which also has huge experience in the Charity and Third Sector.
