Based in the thriving City Centre of Manchester the North West Variety Club office covers the area as far as Cumbria in the North to Staffordshire in the South and covering most of Lancashire and Cheshire.
The North West Variety Club are very fortunate to have the support of major corporates including HSBC, Leonard Curtis, Manchester Evening News, Granada Television, Coronation Street cast members, Brown Shipley, Livenation, Bruntwood Estates, NCP to name but a few.
Our main fundraising initiatives come from our spectacular Tribute dinners to international and national stars of stage, screen, music and sport. Over the last few years we have been honoured to pay tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson CBE, Daniel O'Donnell, Jimmy Osmond, Freddie Starr, The Pride of Eireann Awards, Joe Longthorne.
The North West area has the support of many celebrity Ambassadors who we call upon to promote the good work of the North West region. We are pleased to announce that David Gest (international celebrity and producer), is supporting the Variety Club North West in 2009 with his show "David Gest ... My Life!!"
The Variety Club North West office is supported by a fantastic Committee of volunteers who are very pro-active in the area helping to raise many thousands of pounds whilst also raising the Variety Club's profile.
