A Gift In Your Will

Why we need your Gift

It is thanks to wonderful supporters like you that we have been helping children for over 60 years but we are now facing a huge challenge.

Figures tell us that one child in twenty in the UK is struggling with disabilities. Right now we can only reach some of those children. That is why we are appealing to you to remember The Variety Club in your Will.

A Gift in your Will means a happier childhood for a disabled child

Gifts in Will have already helped thousands of children but we still have miles to go. Leaving a Gift is easy to do, does not cost anything now and could reduce your inheritance tax bill, because your Gift is removed before the value of your estate is calculated.

There are three easy ways to leave a Gift

You can leave an amount of money, a specific piece of property, a piece of jewellery or artwork for example or a residuary gift. A residuary Gift is the remainder of the estate after all other gifts and debts have been paid.

Any gift can be celebrated as much or as discreetly as you would like

We can put your name on the mobility equipment, on the side of our sunshine coaches or even call the programme after you. We can also keep your Gift completely secret if that is your wish.

Let children have a little place in your Will

We know that your loved ones always come first. After you have provided for those closest to you, we ask you to please remember the cause you believe in. Our Legacy Officer, Agnieszka will happily answer your questions:

Why make a Will?

Making a Will is the only way to be sure your wishes are followed. If you do not make a Will, your estate could pass to the Crown and be added to the Treasury coffers. Having a Will is also the way to provide for your loved ones and remember the cause you believe in.

How to leave a Gift

"My children were really happy when I told them I left a Gift in my Will to the Variety Club. They already have children of their own both beautiful and healthy and they understood my wish to help families less lucky than ours. Knowing that my legacy will help a disabled child after I am gone is truly rewarding. "
