The Golf Society

The Variety Club Golf Society was founded in 1965 and some 40 years on, goes from strength to strength. Led by President, Jimmy Tarbuck, Chairman, Sir Henry Cooper and managed by Execuitive Director, Peter Stovold, the Society raises funds to purchase Sunshine Coaches for presentation to schools and care centres looking after sick and disabled children.

Over the last 3 years the Society has presented over 100 coaches and in doing so has made a huge difference to the lives of so many children.

The membership of the Society consists of individuals from all walks of the world of business together with celebrities from the worlds of entertainment and sport. All are united in their commitment to raising funds whilst at the same time thoroughly enjoy a round of golf on some of the best courses around the country.
