Welcome to variety club yorkshire
Based in Leeds, this region enjoys excellent links with the business community throughout the area. Its very successful events have raised millions of pounds over the years to help the disabled and disadvantaged children of the area.
As well as small appeals for specialist computers, walking frames, adaptations and so on, the Yorkshire region currently has approximately 100 Sunshine Coaches on the road and each year provides a number of manual and powered wheelchairs for disabled children.
This year we have given money towards the refurbishment of the children's ward at St James's Hospital in Leeds and have pledged money towards such diverse requests as a retinal digital imagiser for a hospital paediatric department in Leeds, specialist equipment for a children's playground in Otley, specialist play surfaces and equipment for a children's hospice in Grimsby.
